Shipping Policy

House of Mathebula uses third-party fulfilment partners to deliver selected products directly to customers. For products advertised with free delivery, the standard shipping cost is already incorporated into our pricing and no separate standard shipping fee will be charged by House of Mathebula at checkout.

Please note that shipping charges and customs/import charges are different. Free or included shipping does not mean that customs duties, import VAT, courier clearance fees, or other government charges are included.

Shipping Rates

For products offered with free standard delivery, the standard shipping cost has already been factored into the product price and no additional standard shipping fee will be charged by House of Mathebula at checkout.

If a product or destination has a different delivery option or additional shipping charge, this will be clearly displayed at checkout before payment.

Customs duties, import VAT, courier clearance fees and other charges imposed during customs clearance are separate from shipping charges and may still be payable by the customer.

Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

Some House of Mathebula products are fulfilled from international locations. As a result, orders delivered to South Africa may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, clearance fees, or other charges imposed by SARS, customs authorities, or the courier handling the shipment.

These charges are not included in the product price unless expressly stated otherwise and are not additional shipping charges charged by House of Mathebula.

If customs duties, import VAT, courier clearance fees or similar import charges are assessed on an order, these charges are payable by the customer directly to the relevant authority, courier or clearance agent, as applicable. Failure to pay assessed charges may delay or prevent delivery.

The amount, if any, is determined by the relevant authorities and may depend on the product type, declared/customs value, country of origin, and applicable tariff classification. House of Mathebula does not control these charges and cannot guarantee whether a particular shipment will be assessed.

Customers should take the possibility of customs and import charges into account when placing an order.

Processing Times

Orders generally require 1–5 business days of processing before dispatch. Processing can occasionally take longer because products are fulfilled by third-party partners.

Delivery Times

Where CJPacket Ordinary is available, estimated transit to South Africa is approximately 7–13 business days after processing. Other standard delivery routes may take longer. Customers should generally allow approximately 10–25 business days from order confirmation to delivery, depending on the product, fulfilment location, shipping method and destination.

Products in the same order may arrive separately when they are fulfilled by different partners. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by courier delays, customs processing, public holidays, weather conditions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be sent once your order has been dispatched.

International Orders

Orders delivered outside South Africa may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, courier clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless House of Mathebula expressly states that such charges are included, they remain the responsibility of the customer.

Incorrect Delivery Details

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information. Additional charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete delivery address may be the customer's responsibility.
